Loaditude Driver App Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 June 2026

This policy explains how the Loaditude Driver mobile app handles your data. The app is a companion for professional drivers and requires an account provided by your employer or transport operator. It is not a public marketplace. (HTTPS) connection. It contains no advertising SDKs and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and your data is never sold. We use a privacy-focused, EU-hosted product analytics service to understand how the app is used and improve it, sending only your account and company identifiers (no name, email, location, or photos). The app also uses a crash diagnostics tool (Sentry) only to detect and fix app crashes: it reports technical crash information so we can keep the app stable, and it is not used for advertising or to track you.

1. Data We Collect

  • Account information: the email address and PIN you sign in with, and the driver profile your operator sets up (name, account identifier, and assigned company).
  • Location: precise GPS location while you are on duty, including in the background, so dispatch can follow your run. Location is only collected while you are on duty and stops when you go off duty.
  • Photos: photos you capture as proof of collection and proof of delivery, attached to the relevant job.
  • Device push token: a notification identifier used to send you job alerts.
  • Job activity: the status updates, times, and signatures you record against your assigned jobs and runs.
  • Usage analytics: app events such as signing in, starting a job, and completing a delivery, recorded with only your account and company identifiers (no name, email, location, or photo content) so we can measure adoption and improve the app. No advertising identifiers and no cross-app tracking.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Authenticate you and show the jobs and runs assigned to you.
  • Share your location with your operator's dispatch team while you are on duty, so they can follow the run without calling you for updates.
  • Record proof of collection and delivery (photos, signatures, times) against each job.
  • Send you notifications when a job is assigned or changes.
  • Record your working time and hours.

All of this is used only to run the service. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

3. Background Location

The app can use your location in the background (while the app is not open or the phone is locked) so dispatch keeps receiving updates while you drive. This only happens while you are on duty. You can turn location access on or off at any time in your device Settings under Loaditude Driver, and you can go off duty in the app to stop sharing.

4. Who We Share Data With

  • Your employer or transport operator: the company that provided your account can see your job activity, location while on duty, and the proof you capture.
  • Infrastructure providers: hosting and secure file storage providers that run the Loaditude platform on our behalf, bound to protect your data and use it only to provide the service.
  • Product analytics provider: a privacy-focused analytics service, hosted in the EU, that processes app usage events on our behalf. It receives only your account and company identifiers, never your name, email, location, or photos.
  • Crash diagnostics provider: when the app crashes or hits an error, technical diagnostic information (the error and device or operating-system details, with no proof photos, signatures, or location history) is sent to our crash reporting provider so we can fix the problem. It is not used for advertising or to track you.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertising networks.

5. Data Security and Retention

  • All data is encrypted in transit using TLS.
  • Sign-in tokens are stored in the device secure keychain or keystore, not in plain storage.
  • Location history is retained for the period your operator configures, then removed.
  • Job records and proof of delivery are retained for the duration of your operator's subscription, subject to their legal retention requirements.

6. Your Rights

Because your account is provided and managed by your employer or transport operator, requests to access, correct, or delete your personal data are handled through them as the data controller. You can also contact us using the details below and we will help route your request.
