What is haulage software?
Haulage software plans the work, tells the driver what to do, records what happened and turns it into an invoice. The better ones replace the diary, the spreadsheet and the folder of delivery notes rather than sitting next to them.
How much does haulage software cost in the UK?
Most UK systems charge per vehicle per month. MyTrucking publishes £35 per vehicle for the first five and £20 after that (mytrucking.com, September 2026). Loaditude charges per user rather than per vehicle, which works out differently depending on whether you run more trucks than office staff.
Do I need separate software for the warehouse?
Not with Loaditude. Stock, locations, receiving, picking and pallets are in the same system as the jobs, on the same login. Most haulage systems stop at the vehicle, which is why operators with a shed end up running a spreadsheet beside them.
Will it work with Xero?
Yes. Invoices raised from jobs are pushed to Xero as drafts, and Loaditude records which Xero invoice each one became so it is never sent twice. The customer's purchase order travels with it, which is what stops invoices being queried.
Do drivers need a separate app?
Drivers get the Loaditude driver app on iOS and Android. It shows them the day's work, takes photographs and signatures at the drop, and keeps working when the signal goes, which it does at most industrial estates. Anything captured offline syncs when the phone finds a network.
Is it any good for a small haulier?
It is built for operators running roughly five to fifty vehicles, often with a shed attached. Loaditude runs WILD Axis Group's freight and warehousing every day, which is an operation of about that size.
